Not only do most other countries not give a shite about it but now even members of the NATIONAL team don’t even give a shite about our nation. Isn’t that the whole point?

Most athletes these days play for themselves, and sometimes for their teammates. They don't give AF about who they are "representing".

An old coach told me, "the name on the front of the jersey is more important than the name on the back". That's absolutely not the case today.

As far as a waste of resources, if it was a huge waste of money they wouldn't do it.

What do you think the result of a pick up match would be between the us men’s basketball team and a 15 yo aau team.. slaughter even if “they weren’t even trying”

Is this a serious comparison?

Don’t worry- I didn’t even know it was going on until I saw that little boy kneeling during the national anthem

You clearly still don't know what is going on.

FC Dallas U15 boys squad beat the U.S. Women's National Team in a scrimmage

This isn't surprising... it's also not relevant since they are competing against other women. Well, in theory... you never know these days with transgender issues.

Yeah males will more often than not beat females in sports. Add in that it was really just a tune up and that's what happens.

And of course a team full of NBA all stars would beat a high school team without trying.

And a good high school basketball team would whip up on a WNBA team. That's not really a revelation.

The U.S. surely wasn’t going all out, with the main goal being to get some minutes on the pitch, build chemistry when it comes to moving the ball around, improve defensive shape and get ready for Russia.

They should have a match where they do go all out. I have a feeling the result would be very similar.

You either never watched women's curling, especially the Russian team, or you're the ghey.

Like I said, males tend to beat females in sports. Not exactly breaking news here.

They're playing against and winning against women. Nothing else matters.

His hidden rant is about Rapinoe kneeling. That's all this is. He has a more regular menstrual cycle than she does.

I am enjoying it. Hopefully USA beats France and then takes the Cup.

The breaking news is that watching professional women's soccer is similar to watching middle school boys play soccer as it relates to talent and skill.

Not sure what he's been watching when he said he saw her kneeling because she hasn't knelt during the anthem for any of the US's games this World Cup.
