Something fricky going on here, The Egg. These are all 8 lb bags. They're looking for the proper pallet.

I've requested to speak with their manager.

List. Not sure if this is still the case but Cowboy use to use furniture for the wood and it burned with a lot of smoke.

Did you rip yourself off? I thought it felt pretty light for 18# bag, glad I looked.

$3.99 for 8# still a decent deal. Guy said he'd honor it when they get the right one in.

I personally like a clean burn from the hardwood charcoal and if I want to add smoke I add wood based on the type of meat.

I haven't had good luck with Cowboy and avoid it, but that is a good deal regardless

actually no, I got the 18lb bag, but they diverted my order to the Meyerland location for pick up. I'll report back tomorrow for full disclosure.

maybe try that route...order for pickup from bunker hill, they'll likely divert it to a location that has it in stock.

Says there are 33 available at the Lafayette Lowe's. Too bad I just stocked up on charcoal. Every Memorial/Labor Day they have a huge sale on Kingsford and I stock up which far gets me through six months.

Tried a bag a few years ago. Had a lot of trim wood pieces and wood that looked liked left over building scraps from a cabinet shop. Had a few nail gun staples also . Never tried it again.
Definitely wasn’t hardwood charcoal.

Still 68 bags on the pallet for those close by.
