Not really. Fairly good sized college town. Not everyone knows everyone. Population is around 66,000. For the most part it is a nice place to live. I have friends that lived there.

Meth is a huge epidemic now. It is worse than the opioid epidemic here in Arkansas. It is now the cheapest drug you can get. What used to cost $100 dollars worth like 5 years ago will get you over 3x as much. It is a huge problem. It is everywhere, and the worst drug you can do.

Previous company was the major O&G company there. Been there many times. The city itself is not bad at all. few small colleges there. Small bar/restaurant area downtown that was clean. Hotels not that bad for size of town. Way better than Little Rock. Always better than Slidell. Surrounding towns were hit or miss. could tell some were very trashy

All that will do is create an opportunity for someone else to start selling it.

There is the supplier who provides to the dealer. The dealer limits his risk by having people get people to deal the product.

Those who are actually on the street selling it, they are replaceable. So to throw everyone in jail for life, who is selling it would not do anything at all.

Oh shite, I remember that. Wonder whatever happened to that guy?

He was arrested and lost joint custody. I think he's supposedly gotten his life together in recent years.

Great and cringeworthy doc.

As bad as Conway seems, go to Crossett area and SE Arkansas. Mills have closed. People have NOTHING to make good money.

about the groom leaving the wedding to go score some weed

He should have used something else than weed as his excuse. Any responsible weed user would not forget to bring it.

Half the meth dealers these days make it in their garage on a small scale just to fund their own habit.

The reason it is being used more is because it's cheaper. It is cheaper because it is being supplied by the cartels. The cartels are able to produce a lot more for cheaper.

When someone is cooking it in their barbeque house, they are limited to home much they can produce so they have to sell it at a higher price.

I just moved out of Conway. I lived there for 6 years. There are 2 parts of Conway and they try to hide the part that’s shown on that documentary from being public.

Conway is nice though and I loved it.

Watching these people scrounge around in filth for a hopefully clean un-used needle is unsettling.

Conway is not bad at all. The worst thing about it is it’s proximity to Little Rock. Has a couple of really good colleges in UCA and Hendrix, pretty clean, thriving town. I think population is 30-40 thousand. My oldest graduated from UCA last year, went to work in Conway, makes decent money.

Haven’t seen the show, but it’s pretty much bullshite if they trash Conway very much.

I lived in Conway when I was in college. It is actually a very nice town. Trashy is the last way I would categorize it.
