Question that needs to be asked about Climate Change

The left believes (if their words can be trusted, tough sell actually) that climate change is the issue of our lifetimes and we are running out of time to save humanity.
It's a fact that China and India produce much more carbon emissions than we do and they have no intention of slowing down.
If the issue is so important, and the fate of mankind rests on us reversing course and lowering emissions, how many liberals are willing to go to war with China and India to save the planet?
If they say no, then I belive that proves really is about wealth transfer, class envy, and blatant deception disguised as concern.
Why have the Democratic Presidential candidates not been forced to get on the record on this? I guarantee half of them would turn into verbal hawks to get the looney left vote, with no intention of ever following through.

I agree they should be much more focused on India and China. MUCH more.
But it's the easy way out to justify Dem government.
I do think pollution in general is a worthy concern, but Dems often go overboard with ideas of killing the economy for a 10% reduction.

I point this out to my very liberal friend
And his answer well
Then I guess since everyone else is doing it, America should just go along with it..
and then I say well Asia/India has almost half the world population so what good does raising taxes on Americans really gonna do .
He has no response other than. We must change and help the planet.
But we still don’t know what harm if any at all Man is actually doing to the climate ....
Mother Nature is undefeated .

Really good point. If the world is going to end in 11 years and 6 months according to the climate alarmists, to save the world the alarmists should support full scale war against the largest CO2 emitters, India and China. We must stop them before everyone dies.

When computer models show that climate "could" be impacted by anthropological input they scream "science."
When computer models show that biology absolutely CANNOT be changed by anthropological input they ignore the "science."
Imagine that.

No they don’t. The low info voters from the left might have bought this, but the higher ups use climate change as a bogey man to implement globalist and Marxist bullshite.

Man made Global warming = all of the hot air caused from talking about it.

There is only 2 questions to ask liberal about climate change:
1) How many ice ages have we had?
2) What happened in between each ice age?

Republicans are more willing to make real changes to help prevent climate change then democrats. Democrats are just using it to destroy our country. We could lower emissions in a lot of easy ways but democrats are not going to give anything up to prevent climate change because they don’t actually believe in it . If republicans were not part of the state then they would be pushing bills for climate change and other democrat hoax’s and then call them out on it when they vote against it .

The biggest question remains: why were so many right wingers opposed to admit its existence? Yes, many still do to this day. Well, they either don't admit to any validity, or they make connections to excuses like you.

Jesus Christ, man. Why does either question really matter?
It's about understanding what we've done and how to make the simple, easy changes to help eliminate the self-destruction of our planet (i.e. using reusable grocery bags).

Address the question in the OP.

now, I've heard it all. The party who has prevented any real movement in protecting our planet are the only ones who can really prevent it.
Dude, they don't call it the status quo party for no reason. And, that's just stating the obvious.
Climate change was pushed by progressives, the anti-Christ to the right.

A simple Wikipedia check of Geological Periods will show you that many of the Earth's features and forms were caused by a changing climate. Anybody who believes climate change is some impending, man-made, disaster is just ignorant and "anti-science."

yeah, let's go to war with the 2 largest populations in the world, who can only be defeated with nuclear weapons. Why are we going to war? Oh, cause they aren't thinking the same way we do.
Do you understand how progress works? War is not part of that answer.

Democrats are incapable of honesty on any topic - honesty leads to discussion of root causes. all Democrats can do is dredge up ficticious 'problems' that only THEY can solve - and that 'solution' always involves destroying any political opposition they have.
The entire DEMCORAT agenda is hate-driven with not an ounce of honesty or integrity.

there's a difference between what you describe and manmade issues created by people.
Do you not think creating a cleaner planet prolongs the life of our planet?

The climate change orthodoxy is the clearest case I've ever seen of the idiom "a little knowledge is a dangerous thing." On it's face it's seemingly simple logic, and so any halfwit and politicians (usually closer to a tenthwit or at maximum a quarterwit) fancies himself or herself an expert. When in reality the issue is varying shades of gray (most of which are quite a light hue, almost bordering on transparent).
I would say that the reason many republicans fought against even acknowledge of "climate change" is because there was always disaster looming around the corner, but the story kept flipping between "global warming" and the "big chill". From there it gets into a slippery slope argument (which as I've gotten older realized that it is mischaracterized as a logical fallacy when there is ample evidence to show that when it comes to governmental policies, it's actually the blueprint). If you give the inch on this being an existential threat, well now almost any action is justifiable. War against polluting countries, prison sentences for folks that leave their ac on while they're out of town or take showers lasting longer than 5 minutes or smokers (those damn moving point sources). Putting the onus of protection on to the government, and off of the individual's ability to choose is an invitation for legally sanctioned abuse.

Creating a cleaner planet and "climate change" are not the same thing. Of course I want a cleaner planet, and think illegal polluters and litterers should be punished to the fullest extent of the law, and our planet will never die unless it explodes. How can you destroy a planet?
