You’re better off sending it to the salvage yard. Get cash in your hand.

With the new standard deductions of 24k for a family of two, you won’t be seeing anything.

Or you can just run it into a canal and get the insurance proceeds.

I have. The guy that started it was a car dealer in New Orleans and was a retreat master at Manresa one of my years and was phenomenal. They got into buying and selling cars as well as donations to raise funds because he knew how to do it. Pretty sure he died a few years ago.

They do good work and are worthy of the support.

Are you donating to do a good thing, or get a tax write off, or both? Because you have other options as well.

Curious about this as well. Need to get rid of my 2017 A6. I was just going to send it to the junkyard, but I'm feeling charitable.

I've never donated a car. But I can vouch for the organization. As a member of AA I've helped many people begin their road to recovery. The Bridgehouse is by far my favorite program in LA to bring men to start that road.

I support them every year
