Son, Hayward was getting force fed and still looked objectively bad.

Idk...

His game looked a lot better towards the end of the season.

Turner is still the guy I'd love to get, but Hayward and that Memphis future is appealing.

Plus we have Langdon evaluating talent for us, could hit big with those later picks.

Or Hayward returning to form, which we saw improvement every month of this year from him, and then we have an actual all star. I'd do that deal in a heartbeat and would love it.
It would also give you the opportunity to bring the 14 and 22 pick along slowly since you'd have a lot of depth at the wing for a change. and you get the Memphis pick!

That trade gets me giddy. I'd punch Griffin in the face the first time i meet him if this was an offer and he didn't take it.

Ball/Jrue/Ingram/Hayward/Zion is a very long lineup where pretty much everyone can guard everyone in a small ball lineup.

I think people forget that Hayward is 6'8" 225. Draymond or PJ Tucker's fat arse isn't backing him down like they would to Ingram, and Ingram needs to watch more Durant for his defense, not offense.

New Orleans boss David Griffin trying to get another first-rounder and also a player on a good contract for the No. 4 pick. Told there have been discussions between Pels No. 4 pick and Minnesota involving No. 11 and Robert Covington.

Michael McNamara.

He seems to have(or had) some kind of connection inside the team to get him some info. He was also a total asshat and liked pointing out how he was better/smarter than anyone else.

Not going to sneeze at Covington but 11 is a pretty steep drop from 4.

I don’t want to move further than 7-8 unless we get a major piece like Turner or more assets like some 2020 1sts.

Yeah, I’m not super high on trading back. There’s a reason all these teams are interested in moving up.

I think those teams that are trying to trade up are targetting a very specific need ie. point guard.

What do we lack right now? A 5 man basically and there's none worth using a top 4 pick on so it makes sense to trade back

A minny trade for Covington and 11 is my go to trade if Hayes is still available at 11. I'd rather that over Turner and 18, and i really like Turner.
I do think we'd need something more than just Covington and 11 though, and while i like Okogie, i'm really not interested in him. I'd rather draft Little or KZ and give them the backup minutes i'd give Okogie.

Morey has apparently tried and failed to send CP3 into cap space with other teams, including the Knicks.

I’m not sure what they could package with him at this point, asset wise, so they may have to take on shite contracts too.
