Thats pretty bold

Not really. Lebron is already top 5 in minutes played in the history of the game, hes going to be 35 soon, and for the first time last year he dealt with injuries.

Its not exactly bold to say a guy that has played the equivalent minutes of a 38 year old could slow down by 37 years old.

When you think about Bron signing for a slight discount when his contract is up and becomes a 3rd option for the Lake Show. The league is gonna be absoutely fricked even more

Do you think Lebron is going to be Lebron until he's 40 with the amount of minutes he's played?

I mean its just playing the odds here.

He already has just given up completely on the defensive end.

How do you feel about AD’s 31/13 on a 59.3 TS% with a 26.7 PER in the playoffs?

I for one, can’t wait.

This is an organization that has been by many accounts in disarray, missed a major detail in a negotiation that they have been working for months
and i think we will all be surprised if the man in charge of all of this is still in his position three years from now
quote:

had issues getting major FA to even talk with them. Even ones that they’ve been rumored to have been connected to for years (PG)
we had issues when we were tanking and had no way of pairing stars together. we no longer have that problem now. PG is literally the only free agent that the lakers should have had an inside on and i have no idea how thats a slight against the lakers when a year long trial run in OKC appealed to PG and he re upped with them the very first chance he got in free agency
quote:

. This is an organization that has bungled draft picks,
what? the lakers have had a pretty nice run of taking good value at the back end of the first round/early second. zubac, hart, kuzma, hell we even turned clarkson and nance jr into some trade value
quote:

, given away assets for nothing
how many times have we given away assets for nothing? the closest i can think of is the zubac trade. everything else was with the singular goal of creating cap space and getting two stars on the team and its kinda worked
quote:

nd made head scratching FA signings because they valued “toughness over shooting.
this is very fair. if the this continues then i will star to worry
quote:

his is an organization that has had the most losses in the NBA since Jeanie and the current leadership took over 6 years ago,
this is usually what happens when you go into tank mode and you rely on a roster that is centered around players who are 20 years old
quote:

and the only major FO move they’ve made is to promote from within.
this is fair. but i think we can also agree that pelinka probably wont be around much longer

My criticism of AD is never, ever going to be his talent or the numbers he can put up.

You said he’ll be completely washed up in 1 or 2 years

Will he be a 28/8/8 guy at 40? No.

But he’s 34.

It’s his minutes that are more concerning than his age, IMO

He will be 35 one month into the next season and has played among the most minutes already in NBA history.

The guy takes care of his body like no other so maybe he can do it, but father time comes for us all, and he already just doesn't play defense.

We'll see. He could defy all of the odds.
