The Lakers, thus far, are sticking to their no-Kuzma trade posture ... but let’s see if they maintain it with the draft only a week away now. L.A. knows it likely needs to land Anthony Davis before June 30 to become a factor in chasing a prime free agent to join a LeBron/AD duo
Told yall some minor leaks would come out between 3-5. Its so predictable.

not that this changes anything because their package still sucks but lol at the lakers for thinking they have any leverage to hold him out

It is funny that Kuzma is the guy they are playing hard to get with...just shows how shitty their hand is.

It's like they don't realize if they don't trade for AD they will be stuck with another year of mediocrity as Lebron ages to 37
They have to get this done! There's no waiting around for free agency next year

They realize it. They think we’re too fricking stupid to realize it and hold out.

When this trade finally happens both sides' fans will be pissed.
I was reading the comments to that Arye guys Twitter and the Lakers fans hate the idea of sending all 4 of their assets.
Then over here we're pissed that that's all it'll be.

Lakers know their offer is falling apart. They're trying to save face by showing some type of restraint and not giving the Pelicans everything, whether or not the Pels wanted Kuzma in the first place. It'll get done with Boston tomorrow and the Lakers will come out and say that they just couldn't part with all their young players

Both sides being pissed off theoretically means a fair trade.
But that assumes each side is coming into things with realistic expectations
The Lakers seem to think they can get AD in exchange for some Toys R Us gift cards and a latte from Starbucks.

Lakers fans are the most entitled, whiny, self-deluded fanbase I have seen in any sport.
They think not only are Kuzma, Ingram, Ball, and Hart future all-NBA players we should be lucky to have, but that they should get any superstar they go after for pennies on the dollar.
A fair deal to many of the Lakers would be AD for Ball and some second rounders.

Which is why I am down with a scorched earth approach.
We may not get assets for AD but not getting AD is going to cause severe problems for the Lakers.
They sign FAs, then the market for AD increases because they won’t be able to sign him next year.
They don’t sign FAs, LeBron forces his way out of LA. Which weakens a potential competitor for a playoff spot.

That theory about griffin sending the lakers on a wild goose chase to top Boston's offer seems legit
Posted on 6/13/19 at 3:11 pm to Fun Bunch
that's fine. Kuzma's nothing special. Just add 2 future unprotected firsts.

All of this just screams the Pelicans are asking for both Tatum and Brown, the Celtics will not do it. The Pels keep trying, and eventually settle on Tatum, Smart, Williams, 14, and the Memphis pick

@TheLakersReview Ramona Shelburne on The Mason and Ireland Show on ESPNLA 710 revealed that Kuzma is not the deal breaker. “It’s being reported incorrectly.”
What do the Pels get out of leaking that the hold up is Kuzma? Are we just fricking with the Lakers again?
