He is going to get the left condemning any such thing and then reveal Hillary and Biden and others doing that exact thing. Do people really think Trump doesn’t think of how to play these things out before he says them?

It's one thing to take information from a foreign country, it's another thing to use fake foreign information to illegally spy on your political opponents

Anybody who thinks it is abnormal in American politics to accept opposition research from other countries is delusional.
I can list multiple times Hillary had done it.
Now, if the info was stolen or looks to be nat security related, that is an issue.

Why not just buy some information like Hillary did then turn around and give it too the FBI to frame your opponent and bring about a coup in case you lost.

Normally that would be worthy advice unless you have a criminal cabal in the WH, State, and intelligence agencies and FBI. Like that of the Obama admin. They doubled down on the spying by adding an insurance policy dossier in case they didn't turn up anything worthwhile (they didn't) with the spy ops. That's why we have wasted 2 and a half years investigating something that was la la land ridiculous to begin with. And now have a new and active investigation of the investigators that sadly, has legs.

Nyet. You should not do that. That is of course unless you got the phony dossier written by a Brit based on fake information from the Russians blessed by the CIA first, and then presented to a court with no other information pertaining to its origins, whereupon it becomes ok only after you listen to the phone calls of private citizens who are completely unaware so that you can use said information in an attempt to ruin their reputations so you can win an election. So long as the private information is obtained from your OWN government, a political campaign is within its rights to use it against the opposition. But not if a Russian calls you on the phone and offers it to you. That's not ok. Everyone knows it's illegal to have a conversation with a Russian.

I figured you guys would somehow find a way to put a positive spin on this. I watched the interview. You can bet that trump’s handlers will put him on a very short leash. He may be a hero to most on this board, but in reality, he is like a turtle on a fence post.
