You know what you get with these three
Ingram
Ball
Kuzma
And it’s not impressive.
Could not win nor make the playoffs with Lebron, won’t win or do anything in NOLA.
Hard Pass.
Work the Knicks for the 3 and future picks

Exactly.
They’re just leverage to get the best return from Boston.

I think Ingram will grow into a great player. The rest, I agree.

The oldest one of them is 23. They still have plenty of room to grow as basketball players. There’s no reason to think any of them have peaked.

No only the Celtic youngsters can get better!

Griffin is demanding an all-star player and a young talent who could develop into an all-star.
Ingram definitely fits into the 2nd category. Lakers still need to package Kuzma and/or Ball + #4 to get us an all-star.

Considering that Ball forgot how to fricking shoot when he went pro, I wonder how much improvement is realistic.
How many players have seen a 30% drop in FT% between college and the pros anyway? The distance and height shouldn’t be changing.

Celtics need to do the same thing

The Lakers package is a lot better than anyone wants to admit. If they played for the Pistons people would love getting guys like Ingram and Ball back in a trade.

The difference is that the Celtics have far more to offer with regards to picks and players.
LA has like 5 players under contract right now including LeBron.

No idea. I’m not much of a lonzo fan, but it’s clear he has a pretty high ceiling.

Or he has to retire because of blood clots

Can someone explain to me why trades with the Lakers don't work in the trade machine?
Posted on 6/13/19 at 1:48 pm to covtgr
quote:Depends on what you are trying to do. The trade machine is not set up in an offseason mode, so it does not take into account the players that are no longer under contract (so it is still trying to match salary rather than assuming some teams can take salary into space).

If Kyrie signs with the Nets I think Brooklyn swoops in
S&T D’Angelo Russell
Caris LeVert
Jarrett Allen
#27 Pick

And it's not taking into account anyone who's extended or any deals that have been agreed to.

Do you know if there is mutual interest?
Posted on 6/13/19 at 2:06 pm to SLafourche07
Not sure about his interest but Richard Jefferson mentioned it on ESPN a few days ago.
Griff’s Requests:
All-Star (Russell)
Young w/ All Star potential (Allen more so than LeVert imo)
1st Round pick (#27; maybe they throw in a future 1st as well)
But disclaimer is this only happens if Kyrie goes to Brooklyn

quote:Not sure why Russell keeps getting mentioned. He has to agree to a contract with the Pelicans before a deal can be done. Obviously could no include 2019 draft picks as it could not occur until new league year. Pelicans would be forgoing any offers that include 2019 picks just to wait to talk to Russell. Unless Pelicans have no offers they like, would they take that risk?
