State officials estimate that group will be about 90,000 people at a cost of $98 million per year.

Yea, Scruffy bets it will be more than double on both counts.

My prediction is that this law is vastly underestimating the cost and California will reverse the law when the true cost becomes politically unpopular or a recession hit requiring the raising of taxes to continue paying for it.
California will not go back on this.

Once something like this appears, it is impossible to remove.

Your links don't do anything to prove your point. You're an economic illiterate

Read this

However, the Golden State remains one of the most unequal in the nation. It has both billions of dollars in Silicon Valley and rampant homelessness. Its efforts to eliminate poverty instead accentuates it, and its tax system inadvertently aids those who are already wealthy. With the middle class leaving in droves, California society represents a modern feudal system of robber barons and the poor.

When did I ever say anything related to this?

Yeah, their tax policies are shite. The point was they depend less on federal tax dollars than the supposed "conservative" states.

Once again, ya'll totally miss the point and instead resort to "libtard economic policies" as if I've posted one thing that says I agree with them. Ya'll are just so reactionary and assume so much you miss the point entirely.

Precisely what it is

I can't help it if you don't have a working knowledge of economics to understand that Californias middle class isnt being squeezed in tight time,s, it's abandoning the state.

These people just regurgitate what Fox and Rush tell them. Compare Alabama's finances and federal money with California and see which one is a true shithole. I'm neither democratic or Republican FWIW.

Hey fricktard, they are trillions in debt. Go back to CNN and continue licking their dingle berries
