33% decline in abortions, 25% decrease in divorce, 42% increase in Marriages, fertility Up

These are the results of Hungary's efforts thus far.

They changed their constitution to say life begins at conception.
They HAVE NOT outlawed abortion.
They ran a positive campaign on adoption: "I understand that you are not yet ready for me, but give me up to the adoption agency, LET ME LIVE!"
They require a 3 day waiting period after requesting an abortion.
The fertility rate has risen from 1.23 to 1.49 — an increase of more than 20 percent — and today, approximately 200,000 Hungarian families have three or more children.
They slashed the value-added tax rate on newly built homes from 27 percent to 5 percent, specifically to encourage home ownership among young couples.
I applaud their efforts.

It is bizarre to me that Viktor Orbán is disliked by so many western politicians
He has been a marvelous, effective, and courageous leader of Hungary. He understands national identity and the importance of cultural superiority.

So if you make living conditions more favorable for families they will more likely be economically secure and less likely to have abortions.
