Of course. Winning a national championship and firing the coach before the team leaves the field is a catastrofan's wet fricking dream. Not winning a national championship, but still firing the coach is a close second.

we lost because
...when you walk batters, you give up runs, pitchers came out "not prepared"
...because when u miss 2nd base and get called out instead of scoring, u score 4 runs instead of 5...horrible on his part and also bad base running...
...when ur pitch count is being called and you get 7 foul balls on fastballs but yet you call another fb instead of his best offspeed, u give up a 3 run bomb...
...when peterson was pulled ,pm should have gone straight to Fontenot
... we just cant hit tbh...when u score 4 runs sometimes u win and sometimes u dont...as a coach your batters are gambling by putting up 4 runs which we were lucky to get....
...we let FSU take our will to win...that one hurts the most I'm sure
not everyone will agree but LSU beat LSU today...sad to throw it away like they did....

I didn't really see too many mistakes from Mainieri.
The Henry thing is out of his control and it put a ton of pressure on LSU's bulllpen. Obviously that played a part in Mainieri's decisions.
Peterson got us into the 7th...but not any further. Clearly he didn't want to go to Fontenot that early and he tried to get Veitmeyer to get us through the 7th.
Too many fans cannot accept that sometimes bad things happen and it's not because somebody fricked up.

We hit early in the game in a timely manner but then stopped. We made too many mental errors and the pitching staff sans Peterson.....decided to go full retard the remainder of the game. Game over.

We had the game and bullpen couldn't hold it. Same thing happened vs USM on grand slam. Pretty simple.
