Well the PAC has never made the CFP so #1 or #2 team as it says outside of CFP in the article above.
Oregon and Washington?
And the #1 Pac team not in the playoff would always go to the Rose...Pac10 team in the playoffs, Rose gets #2 Pac team.
Vegas gets #3.

i do hope to see a MWC Champion-AAC Champion bowl form and get big time hype and a great stadium. those are usually two ranked teams from conferences better than the MAC, CUSA, and Sun Belt.

Right, if the PAC gets a team in the CFP, which to date they have not. So it would get #2 team. SEC would send their #3 team assuming #1 is in CFP and #2 to the Citrus.

What’s going to really suck will be when they move the Rose bowl to the rams new stadium
Would rather they keep it at the Rose Bowl
and be more flexible so the CFP stays on New Years Day. Ridiculous that the entire system has to cater to the Rose Bowl.

The Pac has had Oregon play for the CFP championship and UW make the CFP too.

What is the rotation for CFP? Rose Bowl was a semifinal game in 2018 so again in 2022?
So I suppose in that year the #1 PAC team would be in Vegas? (If not in CFP)

Why are you still sticking with the...Pac has never made the CFB playoff?
They've had Oregon and Washington.

So that 2020 SEC vs PAC12 will be after this season or after the 2020 season?

That's how it worked in the 90's. Now, the #2, #3 and possibly #4 teams go to the 6 major bowls (Sugar, Orange, Peach, Cotton, etc.)

underachieving USC vs LSU with coaches on the way out is a game i could def see happening in a few years.

That stadium looks like a horror show of wasted public funds.

Beats the crappy Florida bowls in Tampa, Orlando, or Jacksonville.

This is great! However I wish we did not have to share this with the big Ten.
Both SEC and PAC 12 fans agree with this. It's only gonna be awesome every other year.
