9-4
Been having high hopes for awhile but not anymore.

You must be thinking of those Rock Star HC's the O-Bashers go batshit over... Jimbo, Herman and Mullen. They'll average about 9-4

2 or fewer losses for O's boys.

The only problem with this is he’s not one of the top 5 QBs in the country. He’s a serviceable, above average college QB, which is better than what we’ve had at different points

He might be one of the 5 best. Is that outside of the realm of possibility? No one knows until they put on the pads in a few months.

LSU will have a good year, we still have Bama and the other tigers and gators.
I think we destroy TAMU and the rest of
the SEC schedule.
Texas might give us problems, that we should be able to handle. It's going to be interesting and FUN!

The fan expectations are really high this year.

Gotta remove the mental bama block and see them as beatable. Tx amu is the new concern imo.

I expect to be in the hunt for playoff spot come november

They are beatable. That has been proven year after year, yet people here believe there is no shot at success until Saban is gone.

It's a mental thing that starts from the top. The past two Bama games LSU has pathetically played not to get blown out. There's no leaving it out on the field or making bold calls to try and get an edge on them. You will never win a game going into it with a goal of just not losing too bad.

Saban will be 68 in October. He's about 15 or 20 percent gone already.

Yeah, it is pretty sad that this is what people are banking on instead of holding a head coach accountable.

Yeah, when you're up against SEC officiating, SEC scheduling, SEC leniency shown Bama, etc., you need every break you can get.

No league bias toward Bama? What fantasy world do you live in?

League bias favors Ohio St, too. I don't like that either.

Both examples are a result of pin-head TV execs demanding a Goliath in every league. Great for ratings. (While it fricks over college football)

This is going to be the best team we have had in a while. Legit shot at the playoffs.

What does Bama having better talent, coaches & on the field performance have to do with the media?

You left out the bias part. MSM has multi-billions committed to major conferences. Of course they will push to create and prop-up "super stars". They make their living on ratings - pure and simple

I fully expect an improvement comparable to Mett's 2nd starting season at LSU. He had a slightly better year 1 and returns all of his WRs, most of his OL, has a dynamic duo of FR RBs to go with CEH and Brady hopefully infuses more diversity and quality to the scheme.

If this were true, than the “MSM” wouldn’t promote a small population state like Alabama and instead Georgia, Florida, and A&M would be on top.
