If they had an asset on the level of the MEM pick they'd be certainly in the discussion but they don't have enough

The Nets can offer a good package. I don't see any guys commanding max contracts in that list. Future flexibility.

The thing is we have our star (assuming Zion is what we think he will be). The Bucks have one star, a few really good players, and then role guys.
Levert is still youngish and developing. Allen is a low usage big that plays his arse off and is young. Dinwiddie is 25 and just put up 17/5/2. Kurucs is a nice rook. Jrue is already better than Middleton.

Have some spacing issues, but that's a hustle squad for sure. Throw in the picks as well. Their best package ain't bad at all.

And Jarrett Allen is a considerable young talent.
Personally, I’m still high on Tatum. But I can see reason to like the Nets, even if that ain’t the sexiest partner to swap with.

That’s not a positive thing. That just means all of the players in the package are trash heap items that we can develop ourselves instead of trading a consensus top 10 player for.
