Jaden Hill to Have Surgery Per Instagram

Just saw on Jaden Hill’s Instagram he will be having surgery. Could be on his wisdom teeth, could be tommy john.

I’ve been saying this from the beginning. If he waited 3 months to have surgery someone on the medical team needs to be fired. I got a pile of down votes when I made a comment about a strain not taking this long to come back from.

No matter when he had surgery, he's still not pitching in the 2020 season, if he's having TJ surgery.
I mean, sure, there's some benefit on the back end in that he could maybe do more in the fall of 2020 the earlier he has surgery, but I don't think that benefit outweighs the possibility of avoiding surgery altogether.

I don't know what's going on with the high number of injuries, but any article stating Japanese pitchers are durable is just BS, I have to say.
The Japanese go with 6 man rotations. Take a look at the one's who have come here to pitch in 5 man rotations, and see just how durable they have been.
Matsuzaka had lingering problems, Darvish had Tommy John, Ohtani did as well, and Tanaka has had issues. Nomo and Hiroki Kuroda are the only Japanese starters of note who managed to stay pretty healthy, and most Japanese pitchers who come here just aren't good enough to stick in a rotation long enough to know if they are durable or not.

This is COMPLETE speculation/bullshite. The post is of him and a girl saying "Good luck to this one in surgery today you got this". Now why in the hell would he talk about himself in third person?
