Just saying. If the guy wants to keep the baby the woman can still murder it but us guys have no decision with child support?

This is a great question (that has never affected me).
You should be able to throw $200 on the table and say "If you don't take care of it that's on YOU."

Both actions are immoral.

100% of a man's reproductive rights are in control of the woman, but 50% of the genetic material is his.
This does not seem very equitable.

This question has been asked countless times since the legalization of abortion in the 1960s.

Because women don’t want equal rights, they want extra rights

Because men are more likely to be Republican.

they can. at least in some states they can.
The biological to my sister’s child waived all parental rights and privilege away.
Other than genetics, he has zero connection with her.
He is not a part of her life (never has been), and in exchange, does not pay a penny ever in any way to my sister or her daughter.
I guess it’s about the closest equivalent possible for a man to have an abortion.

I couldn't imagine, no possible way I could just abandon life I brought into the world.
It was my choice to bring them here, it's my duty to show them the way.

I know for a fact that my ex wife uses the majority of the child support I pay each month on a new Lexus SUV. It’s bullshite.

Was probably either Virginia or North Carolina.
They were living together, got pregnant.
after child was born (but less than year old), they split up.
He refused to accept financial responsibility for the baby, so my sister came home to Louisiana.
through her lawyer, she was given a couple choices.
One was the traditional route of trying to collect financial support, garnish wages, etc.
Another was to ask him to give up all parental rights.
Basically sign a paper legally removing his name from any record of being the child’s father.
She could never legally demand money from him going forward, and he could never legally demand visitation, etc.
He and her agreed. Changed child’s last name to my sister’s maiden name, and never looked back.

i agree completely.
was in the room when my first child was born.
My life changed completely the moment i saw him.
words can’t really explain it.
it was literally instantaneous upon seeing him.

I don’t think this is a good example. What we’re saying is the father should have a choice not to pay child support regardless of the wishes of the mother. In this example she chose to work that deal out with the father which I’m sure you can do in most states. Had she demanded financial support, she would have gotten it thus leaving the father no choice.
He should have a choice to not be a father just like she can choose not to be a mother. In her case, she can choose to end the child’s life and the father has no say so.

100% agree with you. It’s a two way street to make the baby, it should be a two way street to murder the baby.
