Ludlow cloned and enhanced Marwin and Keuchel at a fraction of the cost.

but I don’t like that the Astros shelter the backup types from catching Verlander to keep him happy.

You ever think JV may no something that you don't? Maybe Stassi calls a shite game.

So work with him and help him improve

You’re one foul tip away from that backup, whoever it is, being your starting catcher

DAT scouts have confirmed this. JV just blew the doors open on people knowing about it. The guy was getting plenty of experience right now to get better at it but he wasn't. I hope Stubbs steals the job.

A soon to be DAT favorite, looking at his AAA stats, I noticed hes 1/20 with 1 RBI with RISP this year. He's ready.

The weird thing to me about big Al is two teams moved on from him quickly despite him being serviceable outside of one injury plagued season. The cardinals traded him for an outfielder they’ve already released and Thornton is doing fine but seems like 4-5 starter. Not a bad return from the jays but still. Felt like we gave up more with folty+some fliers for gattis. Big al has produced an above average OPS+ and wrc+ 2/3 seasons. Definitely seems like a guy particularly in the NL that you keep around

Note: I only hope he steals the job until ohhhhh around late July.

I mean, if he's a great defensive catcher who the pitchers like, here's his chance.

It would be nice to have another robot in the dugout other than Hinch.

It won’t surprise me if kemp or white enter the game here.

And yuli got screwed on the 0-1 pitch called a strike. That ball was further inside than the pitch carlos took for a ball for a 2-1 count. Then of course yuli strikes out on a better pitch without swinging. Swing the damn bat yuli.

That’s 3 hamstring injuries in the last month. And one back injury. To go along with mchugh’s vagina strain.

Four of them.

Altuve, Diaz, Springer and Stassi.

Does Jeremiah Randal have these guys soak in an ice bath immediately before the game?

1) ice
2) no stretching
3) play hard

All these hammy issues are getting ridiculous
