And some are acting like we’re a no doubt regional host.

Tonight’s game matters!

That UCSB host is for clicks. There is no way the committee puts them in at 15 RPI, 3 Q1 wins, and 160 SOS. We should be fine regardless of the result tonight

Whoever ends up hosting LSU as a #2 is getting totally screwed!!! Poor GT!

And paired with East Carolina. Can definitely live with that.

Baseball America has us hosting at #16. But the question is would you rather go on the road as a #2 to a regional like GT and have a chance to play a lower seed in the supers or host and play a team like vandy or UCLA in the supers. I would much rather the former.

D1 Baseball makes their projections for the clickbait only. Two weeks ago (after series loss to Arkansas), they had LSU hosting. Since that time, LSU has has gone 5-2, and yet we somehow dropped out of the hosting picture.

Give me the regional at home and hold out hope that the national seed we’re paired with loses in their regional.

This team hasn’t exactly lit the world on fire playing on the road.

Host. The answer will always be hosting. For multiple reasons.

1- We have played well at home.
2- we have not played well on the road.
3- We get to play a 4 seed instead of a 3 seed first.
4- These other teams coming to Alex Box may not be used to that atmosphere, and may shite in their pants. That's a big advantage.
5- If the national seed opposite of us happens to lose, you have a super at the Box.

We want to host, and worry about the supers when they come. Once you get to a SR it isn't going to be easy no matter what.

Never said that I would prefer it to hosting. I was at the Texas series this year, being the home team matters.

I have no desire to go to Vandy for a Super. The "expert"projections seldom if ever are right beyond picking host sites.

That would mean we are like the 25th best team.
