Have to hold folks accountable.

And hey man. Once you get inside, it's not gay if you don't smile.

And he's been here for 20+ years?

Yes. He's the prime example of aliens who should be deported.

Granted, my wife was from the UK, but she did everything for her citizenship. Probably knows more about the questions and our government than most citizens.

My license plate expired in March. I knew about it, but due to conflicts, I couldn’t get to the DMV until about early-mid April. In the meantime, I was on pins and needles driving around. Especially when I would see a cop. Knew I was going to get a ticket.

Never got a ticket but I was nervous until I renewed. I couldn’t imagine living illegally in the US for 20+ years.

At that point, your amigo has no one to blame but himself

Unfortunately, it happens. Most people who come here are good people. But our laws exist for a reason. Enter properly, and I have zero problems with you.

No but I also don’t think fraud should be excused.:and there is zero doubt a 25 year illegal hasn’t committed such crimes. My immigration plans don’t matter. So far all we’ve got is amnesty for all or toss them all out..something between sounds more right to me

We are a nation of laws, not a nation of men.

Your friend has been breaking the law for 25 years. He has worked his way up in a profession where he has taken much work from law abiding Americans.

Glen Chambers escaped from prison 29 years ago. He is a Mensa member that beat his GF to death. He apparently has been a good boy for 29 years. Should he be allowed to remain free if he is ever found?

yes, he's not alone...you think the construction industry offers English classes for men in their 30's?

His children speak excellent English because they have been educated in our schools..

See, Education versus people who are uneducated trying to feed themselves...

yes it's a moral conflict of my conscious because I know the guy...I like him...he's a good dad...not a trouble maker which there are many I understand

You'd like him too... You'd want him on your house over a lot of other 'citizens'...

All I am saying is, the government is shipping them in, while you folks are saying "he's a criminal, been here 25 years, make an example out of him"....

and break up his family for what?

Did you just compare a murderer to brick mason with no criminal record? Did you miss the part he once had work visa and he let it expire? He missed Amnesty when it was offered because he was ignorant of what to do

I bet she is educated and speaks English'

She is way more educated than when we got married. We also followed all of the laws and filled out the plethora of forms, sending each in with an average of about $100. Every form has a fee and there are many forms. It took us a few years to jump through all of the hoops and dance all the dances.

I had to do it right, pay for it, and sign documentation saying she would not go on any form of public assistance for her first three years here. It was a pain in the balls but we did it right. I would also like to add that she had a SS# when we met and got a LA Drivers license while we were dating so she could have illegally covered an I-9 and didn't.

Your criminal buddy has to go back.
