I would think his Olympic results will dictate that. If he medals at such a young age he’s gone. The money will be to much to turn down. Enjoy him while you can

You mean to tell me you don't have private, closed door meetings, with the Duplantis family? I figured you would have been on here telling us exactly how long he would be at LSU.

You know, kind of how you piggy backed on the recruiting board off the poster who said Watford was about to commit, and he still hasn't.

I mean a lot of olympians still attend college. Michael Phelps graduated from Michigan.

Who knows, but I’m glad he decided to come her. Kids a beast.

I mean he won the European Championships right after graduating high school and he still attended college. I would guess he attends at least through the 2020 Olympics but perhaps even through graduation. James Moran from TigerRag had a good article that shows how much Mondo enjoys college and has a great support system - his Mom still serves as his personal trainer and his Dad still coaches him - and excellent facilities. He really has everything he needs at the moment.

Depends on the NCAA, if they allow athletes to profit off of their likeness then he may finish out his eligibility.

To answer the thread, international track stars make millions so I bet he isn’t at LSU competing long.

Although I definitely could see him staying in school to graduate and train with the T&F team.

Well, Usain Bolt did and there may be a handful of other high profile athletes in the glamour event of 100 meters and the Marathon that make 1 or 2 million, but most top track & Field athletes make about 100k. I doubt Mondo makes even 500k if he goes pro.

Sam Kendricks is killing it.

That’s Mondo’s future,

Teach me something. Other than endorsements, what money is there for track and field athletes?
