Tatum is better than Ingram, but the reason, IMO, that Ingram doesn't get as much respect, when talking trades for AD, is that he's very nonchalant in his approach

see I disagree with this
. Tatum is the guy with an attitude prob that's why the obsession over him is interesting

j. brown on the other hand, I think really has his head right

Even after everyone said the deal was dead you still said lue was going to be the coach. Check your time stamp.

1st off, no one was talking about Brown, so...

2nd, i wasn't saying anything about Tatum's "attitude"... but comparing the emotion (good or bad) he shows on the court vs. what Ingram does, it's easy to see who shows more... and THAT is why i think Ingram doesn't get as much love... casual fans just sorta think he doesn't really care all that much, where as it looks like it really matters to Tatum...

3rd, boom we know its you...

im not going to sit here and try to talk him up as a better asset than tatum, but to act like hes some nonstarter that no one would take and has no trade value is just a bizarre take

I never understand that either. I've never said he's better than Tatum, but I think he is comparable.

I like Tatum, but his PER, overall shooting and 3 point percentage all declined in his second year. Ingram struggled early, then got very close to Tatum's level by the end of the year.

I don't get the conventional wisdom here Tatum is a building block and Ingram is trash. The gap in their actual production is not that big and they're both very young. Ingram also had a longer physical way to go than Tatum did, so it isn't odd he's been more developmental.

And you can take the L on saying the Pels were dumb to not trade AD at the deadline.

He’s under contract. He doesn’t have a choice if the Pels want to keep him, he stays

Which would absolutely be the dumbest move that they could make. The Pels have two smart options with AD:

1. Trade him and get more talent and more depth
2. Convince him to stay AND get him to sign a long term deal NOW.

If you keep him for the last year of his contract, he can walk at the end of it and the Pels get nothing. This would be a monumental mistake.

Remember when he Dallas Cowboys traded Herschel Walker and ended up getting the talent to go from horrible to building a dynasty? This could be similar to that if they can be smart with a trade NOW.

No kidding. I read the comment before looking at the poster and instantly knew it was Boom. I never understood why everyone was sure he was Boom until that. No doubt now.

Been a lot of little things. A main thing is, boom was willing to ride off into the sunset and never post again... right when a poster with all of his attributes and style is rising to "prominence."

For a month or two after the Rockets get bounced....

Maybe we can get Mr. Perfect to give us his analysis of the series. It doesn't seem like his family is in town on a vacation to Costa Rica.

He won't, though. He would lose about $35M to enter free agency. The Pelicans won't let it get that far, but to act like they have no leverage is silly.

Trade deadline is a real thing.

Griffin already talked about it as well.

If the offers aren't where they need to be he is willing to take it to February. Which also allows the Pels to see what some of these talents look like in the NBA. Also allows AD to play with Zion and see if it persuades him.
