...an unplugged freezer.

GROSS

quote:

“I thought it was a witch, or a mannequin,” Argueta told the newspaper, explaining that she screamed. “I thought, ‘It can’t be a person.’ But there was a bad odor.”

quote:

Before it turned up in the scrap warehouse, the freezer had been located in the Hollywood apartment of man who had been found dead in that apartment last February.

Could you imagine buying something like this and opening it up to find a decomposed body

Bet it didn’t stink as bad as some of the fridges and freezers I smelled after Katrina.

I remember that smell vividly. Our fridge was leaned over against a wall and when we stood it up to haul it out the door opened and that nasty water poured out. I can't imagine how bad a decomposing body would smell.

I don't think we should ignore that the first impulse of this adult who found her was "It's a witch!"

Just crazy the whole time it was being moved no one randomly checked to see if anything was in there.

I have a new respect for the grunt workers at Servpro after listening to some of their stories.

I have a freezer, that could’ve been me. Really makes you think.

That had to be a smell that makes you instantly vomit.. opening a freezer with a dead body simmering in it for years ...
