It's close enough to laffy for dating purposes and also pretty close to where I hunt/fish
Do any of you baws live in Arnaudville?

Been through a couple times, seems like a chill place. I work in Lafayette a lot and was thinking of purchasing an older home there. My per diem would more than cover it plus some minor improvements. I'm usually there a few nights per week and hate the hotel/camper life.
Is there a high crack head population there that would steal all of my copper while I'm gone?

I agree 100% with every point except
I think that passing mandatory paid leave would hurt more than it helps plus it goes against free market principles.
If abortion is going to be a thing I think a man should be able to pay the equivalent of an abortion to the mother and then peace out with no legal ramifications. If a woman is able to escape all responsibility for the child with no say from the man then the man should be able to do the same thing.
I think one of the reasons we have such a high out of wedlock birth rate is that unwed pregnancy no longer has a lot of the negative. The government now takes care of single mothers and fathers.

When I went to BRCC there was a teacher who had all the students chip in for one book and then he photocopies the needed chapters and handed them out every week. That guy was awesome.

Thanks Tiger, I think I'm going to go with the Ken Onion now lol. I'm getting it because I like the consistency, sounds like the onion will be better for that.
Work Sharp Knife Sharpeners...Ken Onion vs Cabelas special edition
Posted by Bateaux on 5/11/19 at 5:33 pm
I normally sharpen with stones but I recently got the chance to use a podnuh's Ken Onion Work Sharp and was pretty impressed how quickly it put an edge on S30V. I have some credit card points to burn and was planning on buying one. I noticed that there is a Cabela's edition for close to half the price but still has blade guides. What's the difference?
Any experience with these? Will I get similar results from the Cabela's edition?
Both have close to perfect 5 star reviews, I just don't want to get the Cabelas edition and end up regretting not getting the Ken Onion.

They dress like that to signal that they are down for man on man truck stop action.

Yup, it goes against nature to struggle when a few folks are trying to wrestle you to the ground
I've tried that stuff, all it did for me was spread the stains out
My dog had his way with the back seat, it's a mess back there lol

I am about to sell my commuter vehicle and was wondering where you ballers go to get the seats shampooed? Laffayette/Baton Rouge area

re: Weathertech or Husky Liners ?

I have husky and my dad has weathertech. They have both held up well over 4 years of abuse. I'd get what is cheaper of the two for your vehicle
If a normal citizen would be prosecuted for something like this then why should the cop get a free pass?

re: I’ve never seen the ice chest method for crawfish with seasoning sprinkled on top method
Posted by Bateaux on 5/9/19 at 5:52 pm to Dale Doubak
I use water and liquid boil in the pot. When the water boils out the crawfish in and cover. When steam comes out the lid set a timer for 3 minutes. Pull them and dump in an ice chest with Tony's, lemon juice, and jalepenos. Shake and let steam for about 15 minutes. They are great. I grew up in thibodaux and when my sister married a baw from crowley I converted to the no soak method. I'm skeptical of other folks dusted crawfish because I've had some really bad dusted ones lol
re: What's the best time/way to tell your parents about hearing aids?
Posted by Bateaux on 5/9/19 at 5:49 pm to CountryVolFan
My dad spent about 7k on hearing aids and never wears them. It's bad. I have to yell at him all the time. He goes Turkey hunting without them and bitches about not hearing Turkey. Here is how I handled it:
"DAD YOU ARE frickING DEAF LIFE WOULD BE EASIER FOR ALL OF US IF YOU WORE YOUR HEARING AIDS"
