Kind of sad that Weah won't be in the Gold Cup, but this team is stacked.

Sounds like Jacobo Reyes wasn't released.

Or at least he wasn't released for a previous competition and he thinks that hurt his chances of making the final squad.

He'll probably at least be called in for the initial camp and be given a chance to win a spot on the final roster.

This is without a doubt, far end away, the best roster we have ever put out for a World Cup. I’m pretty pumped to see what this team can do. I think the only question mark is in the defense. Glad to see Cerrillo get his shot. Kid definitely earned it.

Disappointed that Amon didn’t make the roster.

I think there was strong concern that he wouldn't be released, so they decided to just not push it.

Weah is officially done with Celtic. He will immediately join the U20 team and will not be with Celtic for the Scottish Cup Final. It was initially thought that he would stay with Celtic until after that game, which would have meant he would miss our opener.

"...I will be joining my national team to participate in the U20 World Cup in Poland. With this decision, the gaffer told me that it is in the best interest of the team that I collect my things and go home rather than be a part of the game on Sunday so I'll be on my way..."

His Instagram post really makes it seem like he won't be going back there next season.

No Araujo is also disappointing.

I know it would've been impossible with the U17 CONCACAF Championships going on, but I would've liked to see Busio with this striker group.

Kid has excelled in pretty much every level of play so far.

Are you saying you want him to be a striker for the U20 team?

I don't think he would beat out any of the 3 that are currently on the roster (Mendez, Ledezma, Pomykal).
