In Georgia we would call that a warmouth
ETA: A lot of folks don't care for them but they are one of my favorites.

That looks more like a typical goggle-eye to me, but I am aware of something people call a coppernose, which has even more of a bream body and coloration with a goggle-eye mouth and the red eye.
I was told you can find them in stocked ponds, and I want to say they can't reproduce, or something of that nature.
First one I caught was in a local 10 acre pond that had been stocked 30 years prior. I immediately noticed and took pics of the fish from many angles. Shared them with a guy that told me they are called a coppernose. He knew more details about them, but I don't recall.

Goggle-eye is my dad's favorite. I like them as well.

I know it's because your thumb is at an angle, but if you squint your eyes it 100% looks like a small penis.
oh. Goggle Eye in the rain on a blue/white/chartruese humdinger.

Goggle Eye / Warmouth
Paw Paw taught me to start fishing hot bluegill spots shallow and increase the depth as the bite cooled off. Once you started getting Goggle Eyes that means no more Bluegill left and move to the next spot.
