“What I found out recently, which was really quite surprising, the dossier, which really has got a lot of garbage in it and Mueller found that to be the case, early in building the intelligence-community assessment on Russian interference, in an early draft, they actually put the dossier on page two in kind of a breakout box,” Woodward said.
“I think it was the CIA pushing this. Real intelligence experts looked at this and said ‘No, this is not intelligence, this is garbage,’ and they took it out,” he continued. “But in this process, the idea that they would include something like that in one of the great stellar intelligence assessments, as Mueller also found out, is highly questionable. Needs to be investigated.”

I think what he’s saying is the more rats that jump ship, the more likely the ship is sinking.
Maybe they’re (MSM) starting to realize that due to the internet, their (MSM) bullshite is not being believed.
The more media members that suddenly realize what most of us realized years ago, the more they are willing to speak truth, the more likely the truth may be revealed.

Woodward may just be trying to get on the right side of history. Or it could be rats deserting a sinking ship.
More likely is his emphasis on the failure of the intelligence community is the beginning of an attempt to isolate the Obama White House from what is coming. Throw Brennan and Clapper out of the lifeboat, or to the wolves, to protect higher ups.
If within the next week or two other previously reliable Dem talking heads begin to crawfish we could be seeing the beginning of the game of musical chairs. Remember that game? The failure of Mueller to bring down Trump means the music has stopped. The intelligence community, particularly, Brennan, may not have a chair.
And the guy who now controls the chairs is Trump.

Just another sign. The Dems were going on the assumption that the MSM would give cover and that was enough to move forward in the old business as usual political scheme.
However, the internet has destroyed the power of the old MSM ans the message is out. This spygate scandal, if there is evidence provided, will carry weight. And the MSM will not be enough to sway the message the other way.
As a matter of fact, the chambers have been emptied and now the Dems turn is over. POTUS kept his power dry.
All that is required is the declass of FISA.
