His name was Henry Jackson. Nick name was Scoop.

When he entered the race he was the odds on favorite to win. He was the Front runner.


HE was very anti communism and anti USSR. So the KGB launched a disinformation campaign. They forged FBI Documents and sent them to the newspapers around the USA....

The docs claimed he was gay. And the leading candidate that the USSR was nervous about ended up losing the primary even though he had carried NY. The disinformation campaign of the KGB caused his money to dry up.


But never before has Russia so attacked the USA presidential election

I was 9 and can remember the name Scoop Jackson, but I didnt know the story.

I thought the Russians never interfered in any election before 2016. Someone should tell the dems about this.
