Feel Free to add any I missed and I’m sure I missed some.

Quote from another post.

Dude really had LSU's best interest at heart and gave it his all

Umm no. Dude has single handedly fricked up so many things.

In no particular order:

1. The Tiger Stadium concessions
2. The Les Miles situation
3. The Jimbo Fisher deal
4. Ponamsky’s Notebook
5. The parking for football games
6. Tailgating
7. Keeps letting Mainieri hire former players that weren’t that great when they played
8. Trent Johnson hire
9. Johnny Jones hire
10. Nikki Caldwell(Fargas) hire
11. The Patrick Murphy debacle
12. The whole Will Wade suspension situation
13. Horrendous PR over and over
14. Allowing Ed O to campaign for John Bel Edwards.....on campus
15. The Florida hurricane game shitshow

Is this list in order of importance to you or just how you remembered it?

I agree with listing all but the jimbo fiasco as I think King killed that one, but man your order is odd

Really can’t understand how he lasted this long. He should have been gone 7 years ago

I posted this in another thread, but it seemed fitting. My takeaways from Joe Alleva.

I’ll always remember his absolute smugness towards the fan base. His absolute disconnect with the passion and attitude of all LSU fans.

When he approached the podium to announce Les Miles wasn’t going anywhere. That smirk. Knowing what he just did.

And of course, I am the search. He loved sticking it to the fans.

I like how the concessions are number one on the list....but yet it still feels right.

I don’t think it rises to the level of being on the list, but Ree being CC’d on the emails between LSU admins to suspend Wade is just weird.

I can’t think of a legitimate reason to include him in those discussions except for essentially telling him, ‘this is what we’re doing, now go spam message boards with propaganda justifying the decision and trying to make us look good and make Wade look as bad as possible.’

No one should have hired him after the Duke Lacrosse fiasco, yet here he is.

Here is the problem though. There is a large portion of this country that thinks he acted properly in the duke case by suspending the players before any evidence came out.

shite just look at the way title IX was implemented/“enforced” for the last decade.

Why?
It's stupid to include this. Ed O can support whom he wishes.

quote:

Orgeron is an unclassified state employee — a status that is usually associated with the governor’s cabinet. Unclassified employees are allowed to be active in political life. Only classified employees — typically rank-and-file state workers and career civil servants — cannot participate in state political campaigns under civil service rules.

LSU also doesn’t have an internal policy that would limit Orgeron’s participation in politics either. University officials said the coach told LSU’s administration ahead of time he intended to participate in the fundraiser.

And then this

quote:

Orgeron isn’t the first LSU coach to enter the political mix on behalf of a governor. Former LSU coach Les Miles appeared at a 2015 reception for Gov. Bobby Jindal’s presidential campaign held at the governor’s mansion directly after a Jindal presidential campaign fundraiser in downtown Baton Rouge.

LINK

And Jindal was worse.

Coach O isn't in your damn ear spouting Democrat nonsense all day everyday, hell the man seems to only know two words sometimes (Geaux tigers)

Seeing this as a failure of Alleva or "disgusting" (from hack Kennedy) is just stupid stupid partisan bullshite

Hiring a head football coach, who no other school would even interview for a head position, without conducting a national search.

My biggest complaint is constantly getting played by coaches and their agents. He’s basically just thrown a blank check at everyone who was rumored to be looking at another job.

The O campaigning thing is ridiculous and I’m not going to blame JA for that. LSU is a public school. You also can’t block employees from supporting a political candidate (I’m pretty sure)

Someone did a public records request for the emails involving the Wade suspension. Derek P was in all the emails right alongside Joe A and Fieldon.

Les Miles situation should be bold and stand alone. That was the most piss poor handling of a departure that I have ever seen. This guys is a muppet.
