I started the squeegee too late.

Water stains (clouds) everywhere.

I’ve tired Bar Keepers Friend but my doors are still too cloudy for my liking.

What can I do now?

Spray with CLR and use a green pad.

Did you use the liquid barkeepers friend glass cooktop cleaner? Works well for me.

3M scotch brite pad. Don't use the green. It will scratch glass.

As for removing the spots, a lot depends on the composition of your local water. If the spots aren't a calcium/lime buildup, CLR won't help. If BKF isn't working, go to Bio-Clean Hardwater Stain Remover. Apply with #0000 steel wool and rub, rub, rub.

Next time you take a shower spray the glass with Pam or any cooking spray. When finished with shower wash glass with liquid bath soap. Rinse and you are good to go....Don't ask me how this works... it just does. Using liquid bath soap will reduce the soap film non the glass to almost nothing.

I've been wiping my glass with my towel after each shower. There has to be a better way.

CLR is some good stuff. Just gotta be aware of the fumes if working on the inside of the shower.

If you've used BKF and that didn't work, try a magic eraser. Sometimes that has enough grit to get the gunk out if it's not too far gone. If that doesn't work, then it's likely you'll need to polish the gunk out. They make some consumer level polishing pads to stick on the end of your drill. You'll also need some serum oxide to go with the pads.

After you get it all cleaned up, get some rain-x and spray your shower down. You will need to re-apply every couple months, but it makes cleaning easier.

They won't, use them on glass surfaces regularly.

This is the only thing that works for us.

Good luck. In our old home, we neglected with the squeegee and after a few months, literally nothing worked. Tried all glass cleaners, CLR, baking soda/lemon, everything. There was nothing that got the glass water spot free.

This stuff works very well. I had hard water build up on my shower door for a year before I started to use the squeegee. I tried Clean Shower and after a few weeks of daily use the build up was gone. It took about 2/3 of a bottle over 3 weeks or so.

I live in N.O. and there are a lot of minerals in our hard water that leave the deposits on shower walls, shower heads, etc.

I clean my shower head by putting it in a bowl of regular vinegar to soak and it eats the mineral deposits away. I also use it when cleaning my stainless steel kitchen sink where the drain board comes in contact with the rim of the sink.

If you can remove the shower door with no problem, lay it out flat, put either paper towels or a couple large bath towels on the dirty surface and pour enough vinegar to let it saturate the towels and that should work. Once the vinegar does its thing, the crud comes of very easily.

Clorox Foamer and the non scratch pads will knock a layer of crum off pretty quickly. Wear a mask.

I part dawn soap, 1 part white vinegar. Put vinegar in a pot and warm it up, add dawn. Put it a spray bottle and clean your showers with it.
