Correct, McCarthy was right. We should have purged these communists 60 years ago, now they're running the media, public education, universities, and the deep state embedded in government.

During the McCarthy era, the blacklisted folks were....

COMMUNISTS.
They were communists and there were communists in the country who wanted to overthrow the government. Some of them wanted a peaceful shift to communism while there were some willing to be part of a violent overthrow.
Yet the McCarthy era is looked upon by historians as a black eye on America. Yet now we have non-stop bullshite about Russians for 3 years and yet none of the people involved are communists and non of them want communism.

Yep. The fact that Joseph Mccarthy was right. Alger Hiss and the Rosenbergs were communist scum.
