Really weird injury. Was watching live and he just lost balance, didn’t go down violently.

Maybe he is rethinking how he turned down an offer of $15m / season for two seasons to finish rehabbing his Achilles so he could take the taxpayer MLE and get a ring.

I don’t think he’ll be able to hock that ring for the $5m he passed up from this year, let alone the $15m he misses next season.

He’s faking a new injury so he has an excuse to sign another cheap deal with the warriors to get another ring

At least he finally got to play in a playoff game. It was worth the 35 million.

Signing with the Warriors - Loss of $35m
Rehabbing an Achilles tendon - 6 months of hard work
Getting replaced by the corpse of Andrew Bogut coming off a stint in the Australian League? Priceless.

For everything else, there's MasterCard.

shite like that is why we make fun of him when he goes down.

He was the one who fricked himself in free agency, thinking his worth was a lot higher than it was in spite of a torn Achilles tendon.

Just because an offer is on the table doesn't mean that it will stay there if you turn it down or dick around looking for other suitors.

That’s why you take the money. Learned the hard way. Hope he has to work the rest of his life like the rest of us for being such an idiot with his lotto ticket.

I feel bad for the guy. Regardless of how shitty he treated his free agency, I can't root or be happy with a player getting seriously injured.

They're saying torn right quad

There’s a really good picture of his quad I saw on Twitter and it looks like a classic torn quad.

If you look at it you can see his quad is curled up. Very serious injury. As much I dislike boogie, that sucks for him

warriors fearful cousins tore quad

quote:

The best-case scenario could be a strained quad, but there was evidence that Cousins' noncontact injury, which occurred while he was pursuing a loose ball in Monday's 135-131 Game 2 loss to the LA Clippers, was serious and season-ending, league sources said.

quote:

Cousins had shown steady progress and glimpses of his All-NBA self prior to Monday's injury, but now he could be facing several more months of rehab on the quad.

I ain't saying karma is a bitch, but frick that guy and his agent. He got what was coming to him. No max contract for you dickhead

I dont root for injuries. I hoped his recovery would be slow because im a scorned fan. That said, you couldnt come up with a better example of why this was such a retarded move on his part, along with the doubling down and basically trashing an entire franchise en route to a bullshite ring. Believe in yourself kids, but when youre staring tens of guaranteed millions in the face, dont play the victim. Swallow that massive load and love it.
