Probably means Marceaux will need to find it midweek before he runs him out there on the weekend.
He threw 40 pitches tues night and wasn't effective so he's probably not available until Sunday at the earliest.

Marceaux was not good the other night but the fact that he is not traveling at all is not good imo

I would imagine it's because he threw 40 pitches on Tuesday in his first action back from injury and he gave up 5 runs, and 2 walks in 1.2 innings, so there's zero chance he pitches this weekend.

It could be because he’s still hurt or it could be as simple as they don’t trust him to throw weekend games right now. I wouldn’t venture to argue against either one of those points

Not all freshmen come in right away and dominate. He just needs some time and maturity. He has the stuff, hopefully he can put it together

Yeah, earlier in the year the insiders were wanting to pencil him in as the Friday starter and kick Hess off the team.

The whole staff (except maybe Hilliard) looked miserable vs UT. Even CPM entertained Hess's role was back on the table.
Unfortunately for Marceaux his arm problems are going retard his progress but he earned a weekend role for some reason.
Just needs to get healthy and confident.
