That offense successfully executed more critical plays at critical times than any offense LSU has had in years.

No amount of fancy, misleading statistics can change what all of our eyes saw

That’s why it is completely warranted to be so excited about next year’s offense. We saw the base foundation this last year, and boy did it show resiliency and even beauty at times.

Repeating ad nauseum the idea that “hurr durr the offense sucked” doesn’t make it true

Did it?

I remember A clutch play Vs Auburn and that’s about it.

We won games but not like in the last minute

I’m excited for next year because we don’t look like last year

Well, the offense looked hopeless against Alabama again so that's probably what people are referring to.

Most LSU fans aren't happy unless they have something to complain about. The offense is always an easy target. But this year is going to be better because we've finally got a stable QB situation.

You need to take the purple and gold glasses off and rewatch with an unbiased opinion. The offense was a liability and that’s just a fact. Hopefully it’s different this year but word is the OL is still having major issues.

Got some proof to back that up?

Actually it can

10+ years of failure (with 2013 being an exception) makes it completely warranted to not get our hopes up

And closing your eyes and trying to make yourself believe something that isn't true doesn't make it true

Brady is on staff. LSU is about to beat every team by 30. Anything less than an 11-1 season is a total bust.

All I can say is Orgeron must be a blithering idiot to be changing such an amazing offense now.

Cole Tracy was our offense last year.

“ misleading stats “

LSU had the 9th most productive offense in the SEC. it gained less yards and scored less points than Cam’s offense of 2015. There is nothing misleading in 13 games of stats.

Shut up. Our offense was like #1 if compared to the special olympics.

We sucked when it mattered. Aka the red zone.

How many years has it been now, that LSU fans have been told that things will get better on the offensive side of the ball and nothing has really changed all that much?

You can say what you want about the offense last year, LSU Ranked as follows:

SEC:
9th of 14 in Total Offense
9th of 14 in passing
8th of 14 in rushing
7th of 14 in scoring

NCAA:
59th of 130 total offense
63rd of 130 in passing
59th of 130 in rushing
38th of 130 in scoring

6 overtime critical plays don’t count, failed in 7OT... what about just get one first down and prevent OT at a&m
