I had 3 mwd girl trainees back in 2010 on my rig in the Barnett. 2 were were smoke shows. Rig hands did everything for them. Lol

Think of it like any offshore fishing trip. Whatever port you land in with the fish will determine what refs you have to meet. Flying or taking a boat in to a base in Louisiana, you’ll need La licenses and any special tags required for specific species. You’ll have to have the fish in whatever condition is esquires, as well, like head and tail attached in most cases.
Or you could do what many guys do and roll the dice. Odds of getting caught are low but it has happened.
Also, some companies and some vessels, rigs, platforms prohibit fishing. The facility I work on does, that’s typically the call of the OIM or captain.

1. If Sodexo is cooking the food, plan to lose a few pounds.
2. Do a stop card every day.
3. Know your lifeboat number and where to muster
4. Get an external hard drive and get as many TV shows and movies that you can.
5. The WiFi sucks.
6. Get on the crane operators good side.
7. Don’t flush wipes down the toilet.

Doesn't matter what they are when they take off, when they land on the rig they are all at least an OT7.
