That's his Modus Operandi and what he's all about. He's a 100% Bizzaro World Duke Opposite Racist.

At least I can form a sentence and spell correctly. You probably didn’t even graduate.

You really need to take off the tin foil hat.

I will be so hard if Wade is back and Alleva is out. Would be best news in the last month since Alleva's pussy move.

Lipsey has no power on campus, which is why he complains through his blog and social media. He isn’t working with anyone on campus. Don’t believe this foolishness

Money always has power and Lipsey has money.
Is this a foolish statement?

There is no reverse-racist conspiracy. There is no secret agenda.

LSU has many issues:
Poor leadership.
Funding that was eviscerated during the Jindal years.
It lacks "vision" (see poor leadership)
Louisiana politics.
Inertia

Firing F King would be the first step and is more important that firing Alleva at this time. Whoever takes F King's place would have to have the support of the BOS/Governor/Legislature to set a proper course for the future. I don't see that happening because.... well, it's Louisiana.

After the recruiting period is over. Some good that does

Better than no meeting I suppose (if your information is correct).

Thanks to the Killer As (Alleva and Alexander) for taking a probable tourney team next season and making them potential conference bottom dwellers.

We didn't know how good we had it when O'Keefe/Bertman were here.

Power and influence are two different things. He has no power. But he does have influence.

Umm, no, not true, the recruiting season has not even started yet. The spring recruiting season doesn't start until after the season is over. Right now there are still 2 teams playing. Wade needs to be reinstated before his trial date, but the recruiting season still isn't over at that time. But, he needs to be reinstated before then so he can let these players know he isn't in trouble with the NCAA and LSU will not be put on probation.

I’ve known Scott Woodward for 50 years and I understand the job he has now is a good one and one hard to leave. And he very well may be happy and just stay. Why not? It’s a great gig with a school that is spending its way into being upper tier. He could sit back and enjoy.

But I also know that he would love to be LSU AD, that he is an LSU and Baton Rouge guy. But his biggest asset is he knows the Louisiana political machine and knows how to play it and play it well. He knows the all of the players even being away as long as he has and he could raise a boatload of money.

It will be an interesting time when the situation does arise.

ETA: no idea how this ended up in this thread-looks like the other one got whacked.

In your opinion, and given what you know about him, what are the chances that he is the next LSU AD?

As long as we presented him with a fair offer

I can’t answer that-only he can. He would love it and be a good one. What I don’t know is how well he feels at Texas A&M but I’m sure it will be a tough decision.

And remember he worked a long time for Mark Emmert both at LSU and Washington so appearance wise it seems he might be good for anything with the NCAA in terms of treatment both now and in the future. That’s just my speculation.

Damn, it Scott Woodward's name is announced later this week, along with Wade's reinstatement, it would make my year (until we beat Bama in the Fall)!!!!

Woodward started on the academic side, numbnuts

You're REALLY stretching it here...

His ONLY degree is an undergraduate degree in Political Science. His role at LSU was along the lines of political liaison, NOT academia.

He is NOT qualified to be President of LSU, numbnuts.

Even though Wade put together a good team and got T. Waters here, don’t forget what coach THAT Aleeva rejected 7 years ago. Whom ? The coach that just won 35 games and the Final 4, Tony Bennett.
Does Aleeva even remember rejecting him? How could LSU hire someone of such poor character (Duke) and poor judgement (Tony Bennett rejection) ???

Because when you hire someone who's career is basically over, and it looks like they are never going to work again because of something stupid they've done, you have complete control over them. You can push them around and make them do whatever you want, follow whatever plan you create, and get them to say what you need them to say about any subject. Alleva is nothing more than a puppet.
