I know there has to be some good stories between the spillway landing, private canals in the marshes, etc.

Best one I got is it was super high tide down in golden meadow and some Bobby Bouche dad looking guy couldn't fathom how we ended up in "his" canal....I could be mean but I wont.

Not commercial, but was fishing Caminada and some baw got too close to a local fishing his spot. The local dropped his pants and took a shite over the gunwale. The baw had his wife and kids with him and decided to try another spot.

fishing around Breton Island when the trout were on fire a few years ago. everyday was a minimum of 5 cursing/shouting matches and one of the guides was supposed to fight a baw back at the dock. we bought some beer to sit and watch but it never happened.

personally, i'm just not mad enough at the fish to curse or fight someone, but i've uttered some 4 letter words when some idiot comes puttering through the fish and throws out a 20 pound anchor as far as possible and creates a wake with the anchor.

Fishing lake Bourne a few years ago

Got on some keepers under birds

A guide came by after about thirty minutes. I wasn’t aggravated until the guy started to get within casting distance to my boat.

I wasn’t pissed until one of his passengers HOOKED MY frickING LINE

He knew he fricked up. I let him know anyway.

I fish to get away from drama not start it but some shite is ridiculous.

My dad and I were fishing. He got a nibble, but didn't set the hook. While he reeled in to rebait I casted right on top where he was.

And you know what he did?

Nothing. Because we don't take fishing seriously. If you fight over shite like that, WITH ANYONE, you ain't an outdoorsman.

Fishing MRGO rocks

Everyone was doing well but there was a baw catching nice trout in the corner every cast. Some brothas in an old raggedy bass boat decided they were gunna go anchor right where he was casting. He caught a trout right off their bow, took it off his hook and literally threw it at them saying something to the effect of “if you want the fricking trout that bad you can have it”. He then rolled out at half throttle to purposely throw a giant wake at them

Fishing on the California Delta and a rag tag idiot came next to my champion boat in his skeeter which was brand new.

He was so close his buddies spinnerbait got caught on my boat carpet. My friend said let’s go and teach these pricks a lesson.

We cranked the boat and hauled butt where the rod fell out of his friends hand. We dragged that rod which was a nice old school Falcon lowrider and reel was nice shimano curado about 3/4 of a mile.

I guess they learned not to throw baits close enough to someone’s boat that it gets caught on the carpet.

Used to fish big lake a lot and quite a few times folks would run through the middle of the birds if other people were already fishing them.

two summers ago I was fishing between elmers island and fourchon, we were catching trout and not a boat around or in sight...and a boat is passing as we flip two trout in the boat and this dude comes off plane and come straight to us.

it was a guide and he sat on his lean post and trolled around while his clients cast right beside us, we continued to catch and they didn't. I asked the guys on the boat if they wanted to fish with me instead...he got the point and left but its shite like this that makes me laugh when you are supposed to be a guide.

another time was in fourchon and catching trout pretty good, dude comes in and literally circles us where we were casting and gets mad at us when we were there first, we laughed because it was a guide and he was screaming and hollering telling his clients we were wrong etc...we left and just shook our head. being I fish there a lot, I just laugh at the stupidity from some people and even guides.

I was out redfishing one time and saw two boats power poled down on a shoreline. I sat a while and watched them wreck the reds cast after cast. I pulled up further down the shoreline with the trolling motor and, with plenty of distance between me and the other boat, put down the power pole. One of the guys, a guide I later realized, started freaking out and yelling all sorts of stuff at me. It was kind of hard to even understand what he was saying because of the distance between us.

Over an hour later, he left but pulled up to me and cussed me out for fishing the same shoreline as him.

fishing LN bridge several years ago when i was about 15 in my flat boat. We got there and pulled up to about 5 boats on a Saturday in the summer. If you know anything abut this spot you know it is not uncommon to have 30+ boats along the bridge. Anyways, we pulled up and tied to the bridge about 20-30 feet from a charter guide, but on the FAR end, basically, we took our spot in the line of boats. the entire time i was parking the boat the guide was cusssing us and taking pictures of my boat thinking i was going to hit his boat (never came close) . we started fishing and had a banner day, we were on the elusive "spot" that is so hard to find on that bridge, legit dropping live shrimp straight down and reeling up reds ands specks almost every cast, a-hole guide and his clients could not buy a bight, and when they finally did it was a 11 inch trout that the guide proceeded to measure while i told him from the bow of my boat "Cmon, you know that fish isnt legal!" he got so pissed he picked up and left after one more round of cussing.

I have heard a story about a charter captain over in Lake Charles getting it pretty bad from an oyster fisherman at the bait place in Hackberry. Jared I think was his name
Anyone know anything about that story?
