I was just saying the same thing! If he's gonna bat at least let him play defense and we could move Reid to DH.
I haven't understood our lineup choices most of this year

Kyle Peterson said Reid was a professional hitter...how is that throwing shade?
You dense? That looks terrible for CPM. He cut a guy who's one of his best hitters right now.
Peterson keeps rubbing it in by bringing it up every time Chris is at bat.
I love it.

Another grand offensive showing

I agree....it’s also not a coincidence that Reid is hitting so well, and is the only one that wasn’t being coached by the LSU staff in the fall

Are these truly the best batters a program like LSU can find?
Posted on 4/6/19 at 7:36 pm to CheerWhine
Jeez, I didn’t play in the big leagues or SEC ball but frick, it’s hard to strike out this much

Chris Reid, if nothing else, should stay on after graduation to show our hitters the strike zone. Seems like several hitters swing at every pitch that isn’t 6 ft high or in the dirt!

And his nickname is ProfessionalhitterChrisReid
It's also not a coincidence that he's done this his entire career here at LSU yet he mostly rode the pine outside of one year, so I'm assuming they didn't spend a lot of time fricking with his swing like they did The Golden Boys.

He brought him back because injuries were going to make us not have a full roster. ![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/IconLOL.gif)

So CPM is supposed to get praise for bringing back a guy he cut that most of us said should have been in the lineup years before?

I don't get why cutting Reid is some big thing. We had younger players that had more upside and it just didn't work out. A spot opened, he came back and everyone seems ok with it except for some fans.
