I don't get why cutting Reid is some big thing. We had younger players that had more upside and it just didn't work out. A spot opened, he came back and everyone seems ok with it except for some fans.
Exactly. Paul admitted his mistake and made amends.
Chris admitted that he wasn’t exactly a hard worker and understood the move and forgave Paul.
Literally the only people not over it are the people looking for a reason to dislike Paul.

I love Cole Henry stuff. Every pitch has movement.

I can't speak for other people here but I literally said in a post here in this thread that I was CPM defender.
However, I've always disagreed with the way he treated Chris Reid. It was a running joke for a while around here that people thought he was fricking CPMs daughter or some shite because of the way he treated him.

It’s really weird because Reid is actually really good friends with Paul’s son.

Agreed. It's a good story, and I'm thrilled for him that it's worked out this way, but there was no guarantee it would. He did a very admirable job filing in his freshman season. He's had opportunities the last two years but never could get it going. Now you could argue his leash was way shorter than others he was competing with, but he had opportunities. He's a senior playing with experience at basically his peak potential.
With the #1 recruiting class coming in there just wasn't room. If you recall many were speculating Moffitt or veitmeier might also get cut. I'd argue all 3 are most improved players on the team.
