I'm not in any way joking when I say I forget the Reds are a baseball franchise for about 11.5 of the 12 months every year.

Nobody showed in Minute Maid tonight to watch baseball tonight. Literally nobody.

I grew up a Braves fan and they were on ESPN last night. I turned the channel. I'm no longer a fan of this sport outside of the playoffs.

Lifelong Reds fan since I jumped on the Big Red Machine bandwagon as a small kid in the late 70’s. Really sad what has happened to this once proud franchise. I still follow and watch them more than any other sports team and always will.

The Cle Indians home opener yesterday was a sellout and it was 40 deg at first pitch. However, their 2nd home game tomorrow will probably draw 10K. It's cold up here baw. But opening day is like a holiday up here. Kids take off school, parents take off work, and their are people who simply go downtown to party without a ticket. It's quite the spectacle.
