Why isn't there a deadline on Wade speaking to the Administration to save his job?

Is the basketball team just in perpetual limbo heading to the Final Four? If the Admin is so concerned about this, why is Wade allowed to just hang out there on the payroll and continue doing nothing?

Nothing makes any sense.

I’m guessing it’s after April 22

Because he's worth waiting for. Why is that hard to understand?

ETA: Basketball team seems to be holding their own. Certainly wish he was there, but the leadership on this team has allowed them to sustain.

limbo?

Everyone knows that Wade's not coming back this year.

Doing nothing while the team is still competing is the single thing this administration is doing right. The last thing the team needs is to have to deal with added drama while in the tournament.

They don't want to upset the players while in the tourney. Probably fire him as soon as we are eliminated or win it all. JMO.

This.

It makes perfect sense. He can't discuss anything until the trial is over.

Because they don’t want to fire him due to an arbitrary public deadline.

This is a good point, and it's not an attack on Wade.

LSU suspended Wade for 'not talking to them'.
Alleva came out post-game and said 'I wish he would talk", good or bad.

Was it premature to suspend him... that's another question entirely.

If he's now being allowed the chance to hold his silence and everyone will wait until the trial, then that needs to be clarified publicly, and he actually should be allowed to return to work in the meantime.

If you're going to hold him to the initial discipline, then some point within a month, you should move to remove him for failure to comply. Because he's 100% not complying.

You not understanding why everyone is waiting until the trial doesn't make any sense. It's so simple

1) Fire now without cause. Pay Wade his entire buyout.
2) Wait this out and see what comes from it. If nothing, keep your coach. If it is bad, fire with cause. Pay none of the buyout.

Those are the options. 2 seems much more appealing for all parties.
