The "When There Are Nine" Belgian Bruit IPA was created by women at craft breweries to mark International Women’s Day and will be released by Samuel Adams at a special event on March 29.

"We are dedicating this brew to feminist icon Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg and naming it When There Are Nine, inspired by her famous response to the question 'When will there be enough women on the Supreme Court? '" the brewery wrote on a page for the event.

Let the pre-death adulation of RBG and corporate-sponsored feminist virtue signaling continue.

I bet the flavor profile is pungent, earthy, slightly nutty with notes of formaldehyde.

You take that back

I'm not going to go out of my way to try it, but if I see it on tap somewhere, I'll probably give it a shot. I haven't had any of Sam Adams new releases in a while.

I get the joke, but using the same pronoun for both the subject and the possessive makes for a very difficult to read sentence

How did people view Sandra Day O'Connor? I literally never hear her mentioned by anyone.

I hear ya man I love most all beers and all Bourbons but I just have no desire to taste Ruth Bader Ginsberg or a Dick Cheney Texas lead stout

This beer is for people who don't like the Constitution.

People have short memories. If social media had existed in the 80's, should would have been much more of a feminine icon, in my opinion.

If you're going the original punchline route, it's ze and zir (subject and possessive, respectively. You can remember which is which because ze sounds like he and zir sounds like her, and you use them exactly that way). But at the end of the day, as long as you use two different words, it probably doesn't matter much

Wow, you conservatives really become incensed about successful or celebrated women. Same for any minority from what I’ve observed. Pity.
