An L for the Lakers, who are currently 10 games back in the loss column with 10 games to go, would be mathematically eliminated from playoff contention.

D'Angelo Russell this season:

20.7 ppg, 6.9 assists in 30 minutes per game. A 23 year old 6'5" point guard that made the All-Star team.

Traded him for Kyle Kuzma.

Who came out better in that deal?

@MagicJohnson

Laker Nation: Congrats to Mitch Kupchak, Jim and Jeannie Buss on drafting, who I think is a future superstar in D'Angelo Russell!

More than half that deal was offloading the horrible Mozgov deal. Kupchak crippled the Lakers for years in the span of like 4 hours by signing Mozgov and Deng to big money, long term deals.

Also, I am stunned the Lakers are still technically alive for the playoffs. I figured the only scenario they were still alive in involved a Thanos snap and half the West disappearing.

Yea you didn't watch the game (shocker). D'angelo was pretty meh last night. Joe Harris popped off.

Javale also randomly popped tf off. 33/20 w/ 6 blocks in a losing effort.
