Dick move.
But for the right wingers who think it's great, it would be kind of like showing up in an Antifa costume to a republican congressional baseball practice. That would be a super dick move too, right?

Not a single person in this thread said that. C'mon now.

It is a dick move - both here or in New Zealand.
If he is trying to prove a point about free speech, there is something important that he is forgetting. Unlike the United States, the right to free speech is not explicitly protected by law in New Zealand. So, being told or forced to leave is not violating any of his rights in New Zealand. Not only is it a dick move, it is a stupid move.

This occurred in Toronto
Just FYI

Nobody, or unless I missed it very few, said it's a good thing and for the event most said it is not appropriate.

an Antifa costume
If you equate an ANTIFA costume to a MAGA hat you are truly without any shadow of a doubt mentally ill.

so how is the maga hat considered offensive?

For the most part that's correct. This comment caught my eye.

Disrespectful and irreverent. Dick move.

So it seemed like some were suggesting that it's not really a dick move. I just disagree with the playing ignorant, because the guy who wore the hat wore it to be a provocative dick. At a vigil for the victims of a mass murderer who says he saw Trump as a kind of symbol in support of his ideas (however bizarre they were), you shouldn't wear a Trump hat. Also, if the guy didn't think the hat had any meaning, why would he wear it in the first place? The only answer is to be a dick.

It's not a dick move to wear it. Before Trump was elected no one considered the hat "dickish". It's only after he won and some losers decided they wanted to be offended by the cap. That's on their squeamish asses, not a person wearing a damn cap.

What about wearing an Obama t-shirt while shopping with food stamps? Where does that fall on the scale?

Orange man bad!
Can someone tell me how trump is responsible for this?

Has anyone contacted James O'Keefe? He seems to be the expert on the HUGE crime of US political paraphernalia being purchased by Canadians.
But yes, it was a dick move. Most people would take any hat off at a vigil, and I certainly would if I thought it was offensive.
