I have a DR leaf and lawn vacuum that pulls behind my riding mower. No problems. Would recommend. Not idea on price comparison or info on the models you listed.

Before you spend that kind of money, borrow a good blower and try it. I was surprised how easy it was to blow a long row/pile of leaves with mine.

Get a $60 cub cadet mulching kit for your mower. No more raking leaves or grass clippings on the lawn.

just run over them with the mower
I have acres of lawn and trees and I’ve never raked a leaf
it’s good for your yard also

Bagger will do better than the vacuum.
That unit will bag very well with 3 in 1 blades.
Mulch kit also does well with the XT1 units.

I've got a huge live oak over my house along with being surrounded by oak trees and I got the Troy-bilt version of that yard vac, so much better than raking or trying to run my mulching mower over them. I have a fairly small yard though, any bigger and I'd have gotten a Billy Goat professional model. Nice thing about the yard vac is that I can get the debris that piles up against the curb, don't have to blow it into my yard then chase it over with the mower.

Sorry I have this with the electric start.
It’s still a pain to bag the leaves after they are in the cart. A compost pile would be ideal. It’s kind of big to store for only being used 3/4 time per year.
ETA I have an acre with 2 live oaks up front, 3 live oaks and 2 cypress out back, and a huge water oak to my right neighbor and several live oaks to my left.

quote:This is what I just got through doing. My fenced back yard is 1/3 acre, 3.5 foot chain link on three sides, and 11 oaks, 1 elm, 1 cottonwood. I have to slowly take passes along the fence with the mower repetitively but it works.
just run over them with the mower
My side after mowing today vs. neighbor's side that hasn't been cleared yet:
It drives me nuts that it goes so bare here every year but it actually does fill in very nicely with fescue around late April every year as long as I keep the leaves cleared.

This is why I don’t just mulch. It’s so hard already to keep grass healthy.
I like to bag it

Have the same setup on an old Craftsman mower. Dumping those two bins kills my back when I do it. I have to dump them 15 or 20 times, but I have more pine straw than leaves. The leaves don't fill it up so fast.
I've been thinking about the one indytiger linked at the bottom. Would cut way down on my trips to the dump pile.

At this point in my life I’m cutting every tree down around my house bc I’m tired of raking leaves, mowing and bagging leaves, then dealing with grass issues bc of the trees. The little shade I get isn’t worth the year round headache of the shitty trees I have
