He is not legally prevented from talking to his employer and its governing body about this. He has chosen to hide from them.

He has chosen to not talk to them at the advice from his lawyers. If he talks to Alleva about what is testimony may be in the upcoming trial then Allva (or whoever he talks to) can be subpoenaed in the trial as well. His not talking to Alleva protects both sides. It would be asinine for him to go to that meeting. He isn't hiding at all.

Every single person knows this. He’s hiding because he has something to hide. If he had nothing to hide, he wouldn’t be hiding.

Bye, Willy.

Ask him to investigate the special assistant to the head football coach. Bet HE hides from that request.

Nah, I’ve been pretty consistent and right about everything so far.

If you don’t show up to work, you shouldn’t have the job. It doesn’t matter why you don’t show up to work. LSU needs a coach who shows up to work. Bye, Willy.

If your attorney says don’t talk, then you don’t fricking talk. That’s the reason you have an attorney. This doesn’t mean you never talk.
When the trial is over, and he writes a book, and goes on a book tour, you’ll be whining that he talks too much.

You said everyone knows why Will Wade can't talk to his bosses while at the same time saying he is hiding. Which is it?

I never once even remotely discussed this. Again, you are talking in circles.

Both. He’s hiding because his attorneys told him to hide.

Cool. I am, though.

Typical everything LSU related. Everyone has their own agenda and is out for there for themselves

Your stupidity is on full display in this thread. It's funny because you're trying to act better than everyone, yet you don't understand that the FBI's subpoena powers have far reach and if he talks to anyone at LSU, they can be subpoenaed.

Congrats on being an a-hole though.

These people aren't even legitimate journalists. Joe Alleva is writing their stories and giving them their talking points.

This would have been a wonderful opportunity for an investigative journalist to identify the specifics of the dysfunction in the LSU Athletic Department and the university president.

They could have found out each player's (as in Alleva, FKA and JW) role and individual motivations, including but not limited to why LSU is being so petty about this.

But no. They gleefully let Joe bully them with threats of revoked access and sign their names off on whatever message he provides them.

A journalist would have other sources and wouldn't be entirely dependent on one person for information.

It's extremely disappointing and it's why newspapers are becoming obsolete.

FIFY

I get why he can’t talk, I get why LSU is strong arming him. It’s a lose/lose situation right now. This was mishandled by LSU and now everyone just has to sit and wait. It is what it is at this point. There’s nothing either side can do.
