The Beatles
The Rolling Stones
The Clash
Metallica
Elvis Presley

Key word here is "acts." To me, that means utmost importance in quality, performance, originality, and durability. These are the 5 for me.

James Brown isn’t a “rock” act to me. If i considered pop/R&B, my list would likely look much different.

Lol old people

Radiohead is absloutely a great alltime act.

Where you personally rank them is your choice. I have them as an all timer but not in my top five. Some of their music will forever be a soundtrack to my life.

To each their own

I have heard several of their records, my favorite is Moon Shaped Pool. They are a great band, but they are very derivative. Sometimes they sound like Beatles, sometime Oasis, sometimes they mimic U2 really well. My point is that they put out a lot of records but none are unique or anything "new" IMHO. They aren't in my top 500 bands because of they whiney delivery of the singer. That whiney style just gets under my skin. BTW I don't own any SEETHA BRA or NICKELBACK.

I see now. Rush and April Wine win the day with a load of cheeseburgers and playtime with Lahey in a pool of booberry vodka.

Got it

Other than their UK accents, I hear no similarities between Radiohead and the bands you listed...maybe late-era Beatles due to the studio manipulation?

That's fine if you don't "get" them...we all have ridiculous opinions when it comes to music.

Beatles
Zeppelin
Stones
U2
(those are four easy ones) Lots of bands could be #5.
Fleetwood Mac, Eagles, VH, Guns, Nirvana, REM, etc etc etc.

Rolling Stones
Queen

I assume you are blaming "old people" for the litany of downvotes the OP received, yet...

Nobody was saying radiohead is the worst band ever. They're laughing at the thought of putting them as a "top 5 rock act of all time". Of which they certainly are not.

Somethings were said too quickly and might take back my hating. I have to agree with this post if Im being honest.

That said- Radiohead gets a lot of hate from “old”people.

Radiohead are however GOATs in the own right.
