Not a fan of some of the call-ups, especially the forward depth (or lack of) and seeing the name Omar Gonzalez. Excited for the midfield and to see how Berhalter handles the back line.

Who would have been called up but is hurt?
Altidore?
Others?

No Sargent or Weah? They injured?

Probably with the U23s.

Looks like Sargent and Weah May play with the U23 and Olympic qualification, per the linked article.

Bobby Wood and/or Dom Dwyer would have been two true strikers to call up instead of more Wil Trapp, Omar, or Ramirez.

I swear if Trapp starts over Weston or Adams....

its time to cut ties and give them the TYFYS
much like Germany just did to Muller, Hummels and Boateng

Wood hasn't scored since November and seems to have lost his starting spot. And why would you call up one or two more stickers to replace a defender and midfielder?

Because 3/6 of the people listed under forward play on the wings/midfield.

So you want to bring in 5 strikers when only one can play at a time (in his desired formation) and you only play 2 games?

I did say "and/or" didn't necessarily mean both, and that was simply the easiest list of 3 guys I wouldn't have called in off the top of my head.
I think having Baird and Lewis called in is a good decision to see what they have.

Bc Wil Trapp sucks
Ok? Then call up a midfielder to replace him, not a striker.

Well technically they already did. Bradley, Adams, Roldan, and even Weston can play his role. It is a bit worrisome to see where goals are going to come from. Hopefully one of those forwards will step up and show out.

I will add who I think should have been called in over them since that's how we are playing
Ugh. Give me Zimmerman
Blah. Not many options here. I would take Robinson or Villafana over Lovitz though. We probably see Ream start in this role that Lovitz played in January camp
Has never moved the needle for me so to speak. Duane Holmes has shown he can play his role for Derby recently. Would even prefer a Nagbe here as well.
Again. Blah. I think it's pretty clear he isn't a good international player. Would be willing to give this spot to any other MF position since Bradley and Adams can play the 6
Seriously just pick anyone
Same
Glad Lewis and Lletget got call ins after positive showings in January

Adams, McKennie, and Roldan can also play the advanced midfield roles. Adams will also get a look at RB.
