Sideline reporter from the broadcast last night...I still don’t know who he is...completely shocked that fans were booing the AD. Astonished at the support Ww has from people he talked to around town.... Not like he’s a n entrenched local figure and he is “ about to bring severe sanctions” to the program and still being backed. Lebatard says every coach he’s spoken to was “not surprised by this” and said Will has this “reputation” among coaches and is not well-liked. Everyone is doing it he said but this is “felony” level cheating not the typical misdemeanor stuff. Realizing more and more this was all about getting WW out of the conference.

If more comes out then it is possible the fans will turn on him as well. Right now he is seen as some type of martyr but that could change with time.

Earlier in the week there was a short article about there being "a lot of smoke around WW at VCU but nothing was ever proven". FWIW.

Bruce Pearl is a dirty pos but boy oh boy he’s just a lovable joy to be around!
Calipari has gotten two NCAA programs in probation, but he’s a strong molder of men!

“Felony” and not “misdemeanor.” I mean how do we know that? That’s such bullshite. Nothing that has come out even proves 100% there was paying of players. And even if it does, which I admit is likely, there’s definitely nothing that indicates the magnitude or level of “cheating” compared to other programs.
On the contrary, context clues from Wades convos itself indicate this was a widespread, uniform practice. Whatever it was he was doing. The other leaks, from Self, Miller, Louisville, Zion, Sexton, all indicate equal if not more intense “cheating.”

Totally agree. I don’t understand what wade does on the recruiting trail that makes everyone hate him more than the other cheaters. Flip them off as he’s pulling out of the driveway

When are we going to hear about all the other schools involved? Why are we the only ones that are getting the publicity now. I know, I know, the wiretap was leaked. But if Dawkins attorney's want to blow up the whole NCAA thing why aren't they leaking stuff about the other 40 or 50 schools. They could really fack up this whole March Madness thing which would be fine by me.

That was not Le Batard. It was Matt Schick. In fact, Le Batard would be all about paying players and not suspending either Wade or Smart. Also, he’s not a fan of Dickie V so that’s a plus.

Has anyone checked their roster? They have NBA talent every year and lose. Every year. Two right now.

Probably because most intelligent people realize the AD didn't suspend Wade and some of our fans are just ridiculous..
